Testing Program
Next Level has a strict testing program that ensures that all jobs will be done right the first time. It starts
with inspecting all cables, materials, and equipment for signs of stress or damage prior to the installation.
Any defects will be replaced prior to the installation or brought to the responsible vendor to resolve the issue.
All cables, wires, connections, and terminations installed, modified or relocated within the designated scope of
work will be 100% tested. All terminations will be inspected for loose, frayed or questionable connections.
All LAN configurations will be tested for faults, open shorts, crosses and polarity. Distance limitations are
tested for and verified to assure conformity to cable standards within the selected topology. Next Level utilizes
the latest Fluke DSP-4300 tester for EIA/TIA-568A category 5e and 6 testing, bi-directional, Next, link and channel
certification. Once the wiring system is turned over to the customer, Next Level can provide a CD with test results
and or can provide the customer access to its web page so the client can download and or check all tests. Should
their be any problems with the customers cable plant within the warranty period Next Level will come out the job
site, free of charge, to verify the cables are still in working order.
Next Level tests fiber optic systems to be 100% complete to assure the client that the system will meet
EIA/TIA-568A standards. This is met through the loss budget that is specified on every fiber termination and
can be furnished with these test results at the completion of the job and or when requested. Next Level will use the
latest Fluke DSP-4300 or may use a basic light test, power meter one way or bi-directional, or an OTDR bi-directional
or one way with patch. All tests are performed at 850nm or 1300nm for multi-mode and 1310 to 1550 for
single-mode. Next Level can provide a CD with test results and or can provide the customer access to its web
page so the client can download and or check all tests. All IDF and MDF closets are designed, built, and engineered
to ensure maximum flexibility as well as expandability. Next Level engineers every solution to accommodate the
clients, present day requirements, as well as anticipated future growth.
